WHAT ARE DIGITAL BOOKTALKS?
At one time, I added pre-made digital booktalks to my Library Digital Bulletin Boards and Elementary Library Lessons. Digital Booktalks are scrolling slideshows that advertise library books.
WHY ARE THE DIGITAL BOOKTALKS NOW FREE?
The digital booktalks used to be part of paid resources in my store. This was fine when I only had a few of these lessons in my shop, but I now have over 100 Library Lessons and Digital Bulletin Boards, all sold on 4 different teacher-created lesson platforms.
New books come out constantly. After a few years, books become dated and/or go out of print. It’s just not possible for me to keep all the digital booktalks updated.
So! I am now creating the booktalk portions of my lessons for FREE download on MrsReaderPants. Offering the booktalks for free means busy librarians and teachers do not need to reinvent the booktalking wheel. It also means I can update the booktalk slides in only one place, and everyone gets the update at the same time.

Making the booktalks available for free also helps me because if you like using the scrolling booktalks, you might also need an Elementary Library Lesson or Digital Bulletin Board to go with them. For each of the booktalk presentations linked below, I have added Library Lessons and Digital Bulletin Board links at the bottom of each post.
