This beautiful Digital Booktalk shows off YA books with green covers! I’ve featured 25 books for Grades 7+ in this scrolling slideshow for secondary libraries. It’s perfect for St. Patrick’s Day or anytime you want to show off the color green!

This Books with Green Covers Digital Booktalk includes 25 books for secondary libraries. A few titles are best for middle school readers, but most are either for Grades 7-12 or 9-12. If you are a middle school librarian, you’ll want to have a look at the 9-12 titles.

The Green Covers Digital Booktalk is editable, so you can easily replace them with different books with green covers from your library.

The booktalk slideshow is editable in Google Slides. Please feel free to make a copy and edit it for your library as you wish. I’ve included lots of popular books that are found in many libraries, but you can easily add your own library books, too.

Play the slides on a timed loop in the library or hallway to encourage students to check out library books with beautiful green covers.

To download the digital booktalk presentation, click the link underneath the slideshow below. Click “make a copy” when the message pops up to make a copy in your Google Drive. You can then edit it to include books from your school library.

I included some fantastic titles below, many of which have starred professional reviews. Some have also won book awards, so it can also make a great collection development tool. I also plan to update these slides from time to time to add new titles!
