WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE STORYTIMES, LIBRARY LESSONS, AND DIGITAL BULLETIN BOARDS?
Library Storytimes are for Grades PreK-3. These are two-part library lessons. Part I is librarian-led (don’t worry, I walk you through every part!). Part II is an independent student scavenger hunt with a scrolling slideshow.
Library Lessons are for Grades 2-6 (grade level varies depending on content). All my Library Lessons include two parts. The first part is a librarian-led whole-group discussion activity. It includes a song, sign language, and group discussion activities. As with the Library Storytimes described above, Part II is a scrolling slideshow with scavenger hunt activity.
Digital Bulletin Boards are scrolling slideshows. They are designed to scroll on a timed loop. They do not include a Part I, librarian-led group lesson as the two above do. My elementary Digital Bulletin Boards also include a scavenger hunt for students to complete while the slideshow scrolls. All images and answers to the questions are in the scrolling slideshow.
ARE ANY SLIDES DUPLICATED?
Nope! While some information may be similar, no two slides or pages are the same in these library lessons. They are very different from one another.
