INTRODUCING A NEW SERIES!
Welcome to the “5 Books” series! This is a new series on my blog as of November 2023.
Each day, I get an email from Barnes & Noble because I am in their teacher discount program. The email features 3 books in a particular genre or about a particular topic.
I LOVE getting these emails each day! They have me thinking about how I can use a similar format for my readers.
HOW MY “5 BOOKS” LISTS ARE DIFFERENT FROM THE BN EMAILS
My lists will be different from the BN lists though. First, I didn’t want them solely in email because I wanted them to be easily-accessible all the time. New readers join my email list each day, and I wanted to make sure new people have access to all the lists.
You can access all my 5 Books lists on this page.
Secondly, my lists are five books, not three. They will also only be for kids, tweens, and teens. I may include an adult list on occasion, but as this blog is for school librarians, the 5 Books series will focus on books for school libraries.
All books included will have received at least 2 positive professional book reviews on Titlewave.
I plan to post to this list by Sunday morning each week.
FREE POSTERS, TOO!
Five books is really not enough for a full library book display, but the ideas are here to get you started.
If you want to make a display, I will also include an editable poster for each 5 Books topic.
Click into each post below for the link to the posters.
