Wow. I get about three minutes per week for lessons, since language arts teachers give up their time to visit the library. I was fortunate that the local Half Price Books donated paperbacks so that I could provide students with summer reading. Assuages the guilt!
Yikes! I actually get my middle schoolers for a whole class period every two weeks during their English classes. I arranged this with the teachers directly, and they honestly seem thrilled to have someone else take over for a lesson. The students love their library time!
