HOW TO PUT TOGETHER THE BOOK BATTLE READING JOURNAL:

Each book will require 4 printed pages (2 printed front-to-back).

For example, if you have 12 books on your list, you will need 24 front-to-back pages, plus the cover and title checklist. Bind all 26 pages together with comb bind or put in a small binder for students to keep everything together.

STUDENTS FILL IN THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION:

  • colorable cover
  • author, title, genre
  • major and minor characters
  • space for 2 favorite quotations
  • setting
  • 3 major events
  • 3 competition practice questions with answers
  • student review with star ratings to color
