New Release Spotlight: March 2025

This last week of March is the week of getting back on track! This month, I have traveled from Cancun to California to Arizona to New Mexico to Texas and back to Cancun (well, more specifically Puerto Morelos, where I’ve lived since 2020). I have had a respiratory virus for about 10 days now, and I’m still coughing so hard that my back and stomach muscles hurt.

But this is going to be my week! Back to reading, back to doing my live updates (maybe in the evenings now though), back to creating new Library Lessons and Digital Bulletin Boards.

You can see my March journey in my “morning update” live videos on Instagram and Facebook. I plan to pick these up once again this week…just as long as I don’t have a coughing fit on camera, LOL.

For March 2025, we have a total of 35 brand-new picture books and middle grade and YA titles. All represent my favorite new book releases for this month.

I thoroughly research every one of these titles – each title I add to the Spotlight represents about 45 minutes of research, reading professional reviews, reading Goodreads reviews, and reading at least some of the first chapter on Amazon. In the case of picture books, I have read some of the books from cover to cover, and others are just the Amazon sample.

All that to say, I take my Spotlight recommendations very seriously – they are not just a quick list of books that look interesting.

Next week, we’ll start a new Spotlight for April, complete with three new Canva presentations!
