Remember all those magazine quizzes we took as teens? This genre personality test is styled after those quizzes. Students LOVE this activity! This version is designed to help middle and high school students identify which reading genres are best for them. You can use this lesson with little to no preparation–it’s all ready to go!

This kit includes:

Two double-sided readalike bookmarks for each of nine genre personalities. One side is the personality description. The other side is a list of recommended book titles. The bookmarks are sorted by age group. All the bookmarks are fully editable with PowerPoint. PDF is of each is also included. (27 pages, editable)

Printable & editable quiz–You can use these instead of the PowerPoint presentation. I’ve used these with my classes when time is short, and they are FABULOUS! It was a lot easier on me, and the lesson went a little faster than it does with the PowerPoint.–2 pages for each quiz (2 pages, editable)
