This English grammar deck teaches sentence subjects and simple subjects. It includes identifying a subject in an interrogative sentence. Of the 23 cards, 13 are “teaching” cards and 9 are student practice cards.
All cards in this deck contain gorgeous photographs of marine life. The subject of the photograph is the subject of each explanation and practice sentence. Drawing a parallel between the subject of a photo and the subject of a sentence helps struggling students remember how to identify a sentence subject.
I do not recommend that you grade this particular deck, but if you choose to do so, BOOM will grade them for you (reports are available in paid accounts only). I recommend using this game as an ungraded, fun teaching and review tool.
To use Boom Cards, you must be connected to the Internet. Boom Cards play on modern browsers (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge). Apps are available for Android, iPads, iPhones, and Kindle Fires. For security and privacy, adults must have a Boom Learning account to use and assign Boom Cards. You will be able to assign the Boom Cards you are buying with “Fast Pins,” (play provides instant feedback for self-grading Boom Cards). Fast Play is always a free way for students to engage with Boom Cards decks. For additional assignment options you’ll need a premium account. If you are new to Boom Learning, you will be offered a free trial of our premium account. Readhere for details: http://bit.ly/BoomTrial.
