HOW DOES LIBRARY READING BINGO WORK?
- Start with the red Library Reading Bingo card. When a student finishes the red card, they “level up” to the next card (orange).
- To complete a card, students select books from any one row (4 books). They can also read from the four corners. This means they have read four books.
- Each Library Reading Bingo card has 11 possible book row options, allowing every card to be differentiated to suit different reading preferences/abilities.
- Students can complete more than one row on the same card if they choose. I like to just require one row or the four corners because I like the students to have many options to choose from.
- Students get a small prize and/or recognition for completing a row or four corners on their card. I have listed some inexpensive and free ideas for prizes in the Reading Bingo card directions.
