The Fall of the House of Usher – Grammar Activity – Mood

$3.00

No one does mood like Edgar Allan Poe! This activity contains an excerpt from “The Fall of the House of Usher,” minus 15 words. Students use the grid to insert their own nouns, verbs, and adjectives into the story.

Afterwards, students will examine how authors use words purposely to make readers feel a certain way while reading. This mood activity is a one-page worksheet that can help guide discussion of mood and language in literature.
