The Dewey Decimal Shelf Labels include:

  • Editable templates to create your own labels (20 PowerPoint slides)
  • Over 150 Dewey section labels — 196 PDF pages total
    • 30 “Hundreds section” labels
    • 120 specific Dewey section labels (see list below)
    • Labels include: the Dewey number, a brief section description, and an image to represent that section.
    • Includes color and black line labels
    • All labels available in horizontal and vertical formats. Horizontal prints 4 labels per page; vertical prints 3 labels per page in portrait orientation.

*To protect image copyrights, these labels are PDF format and not editable. You can, however, use the included templates to create your own labels.

To use the labels:

  • Choose whether you prefer color or black line labels. Color labels work best on white cardstock. Blackline labels are printer-friendly and look great on colored cardstock.
  • Print, cut, and laminate the labels.
  • Glue or tape the labels to vertical magazine files. Amazon.com has a wide variety of magazine files in different colors, sizes, and materials.
  • Can’t afford fancy magazine files? Check out my ideas for making your own, using materials you probably already have in the library.
